Seals vs. US Navy (Ahmed Hashim Abed)

I do understand you have not personally brought charges against our Navy Seals for the so called brutality against Ahmed Hashim Abed but I do implore you to make sure the Navy understands the consequences of their actions in pursuing this Courts-martial. While there may have been a minor infraction of the UCMJ, this kind of publically available proceeding is counterproductive to the good of the country as a whole. Secretary Napolitano of homeland security has already proclaimed me (an armed, self proclaimed conservative) as a possible domestic terrorist, but what the Navy is doing by putting these three Seals on trial, is pushing ex-military further toward the line of no confidence in the government.

Does the Navy think that by punishing these Seals for this, it will endear other citizens to want to join this organization? I can't imagine that being the case. You train these people to be the best of the best at fighting and surviving and now you consider the criminal in this case as the victim. Though you are military and have heard it all before, I will refrain from getting vulgar here and just say this case should be dismissed for lack of evidence, or as in a case where trying to sue the government, a citizen of this country was found to have 'NO STANDING' to sue (over taxes). If a citizen of this country has 'NO STANDING' to sue the government, why in the world would the Navy find Ahmed Hashim Abed to have standing to bring charges against the Navy Seals…even if the Navy is the plaintiff, charging the Seals, it still stems from someone with NO STANDING in the American system.

To me, depending on a statement from Ahmed Hashim Abed, the Navy has based its case on the Fruit of the poisonous tree. Abed has no legal standing therefore there is no basis to bring into question the actions of the Seals.
