An idea for health care…

1990 pages of something that we can never read and understand within 72 hours, even if they post the bill online for 72 hours before voting on it.
They say this will be paid for by taxing the rich and rooting out corruption and fraud. Good luck with that. The rich people don't have to work so they won't thus causing the tax base the government needs to support health care won't be there. The problem is that the tax base the government counted on won't materialize and we will still be on the hook to pay for health care thus the people that have to work to survive will have to pay those bills…taxes on the middle class. Fraud and corruption, really? The government thinks they can root out 500 billion in fraud and corruption??? Really? The federal government are the creators of fraud and corruption…well creators may be a little strong but at least willing participants, so I don't believe they can find 100 billion in savings so that would mean another 400 billion the taxpayer would have to cover…ok about 200 billion of lost taxes on the rich…400 billion in lack of recovery in fraud and corruption…we pay at least 600 billion of an estimated 900 billion. Wow!!! Oh and by the way that 900 billion is the congressional estimate, not real numbers, it may well be on upwards of 1.5 trillion by the time its paid for.

Now for my idea, If we can't stop this reckless spending bill, which with the makeup of congress we may not be able to do, we should introduce legislation that says that any legislator that votes for this bill and it DOES increase the deficit then all of these people that voted for it will voluntarily resign from congress/white house.

The only reason I don't believe this kind of legislation would work is that the government has all the lawyers and all of our money, so they can make it look like they want it to look and without the ability to look into the governments books how would we know.
