An original thought…not

I've spent some time watching television today though admittedly not too much because of the Ft. Hood tragedy. While my heart goes out to the families of the victims and the families of the wounded soldiers there are other things happening here. I'm not a conspiracy theorist but wouldn't it be tragic if these shootings were an attempt to get our eyes off the balls being floated around in congress…Health Care, Cap and Trade, Global Warming (I know, Cap and Trade and Global Warming are sort of one and the same)…anyway the thought isn't the eye on the ball issue so lets move on.

A number of years ago GM produced an all electric car that was put on the market but only allowed to be leased, not purchased, California produced legislation that x% of all cars on the road would be 0 emissions vehicles within 10 years, the big auto makers lobbied the government to put a stop to it so the Federal government did that…they sued California to repeal the legislation. California capitulated and repealed the legislation putting big oil and big automakers back in the driver's seat. Now we have another oil crisis and are still held hostage to Middle Eastern oil so we are developing Hybrid cars.

This really has nothing to do with big oil, electric cars, horse and buggy or skateboards, this has to do with the power to tell us how we are going to run our lives. Ford and GM got the government to stop electric cars to retain their power, President Bush (the first one) kept his power because of his oil profits, the scientific community kept their power because the government kept funding grants to research alternate powered vehicles and carbon emissions continued to rise, so another 'manmade disaster' could threaten us to the point of relinquishing a little more of our freedom so the government could 'save us'.

Now that the new 'manmade disaster' is beginning to come unraveled (CO2 being the big global warming culprit) our government is pushing Universal Health Care as the number one priority to further their power, if we can't get Cap and Trade passed to gain another level of power over the average person's life then we will ratchet up the control with Health Care. Neither this nor any government gives a damn whether you or your parents die. They don't care if you have health care anymore than they care if you choke on carbon monoxide, it's about power. 10 to 100 million people in this country could die and the government wouldn't give a damn as long as the tax base didn't falter, and if it does then they raise taxes.
I'm not too sure here but it seems to me that all of us that believe this drivel rebelled at the same time, the government would have candidates for the Fema camps…

prp

By the way, if GM hadn't recalled all of those electric cars and have them crushed 90 percent of us would be driving a GM electric car today…guess GM backed the wrong horse…;-)
